THE PROCESS OF STEPPING OUT
Intro...
The process of stepping out is very difficult, especially because the cult “web” is created in a kind of way that sucks out everything from someone that wants to leave, including the meaning of life.
I will try to explain our (me and my wife) process of stepping out, but take in mind that this is just an overview. Many of the complexity can not be explained in words in a simple way, and it would turn this into a real encyclopedia if I would try to go into all of the ramifications that were implied in the process.
For those who need more information about a specific subject, how something worked out for us, or any help that we can provide, please just send us an email, I will answer any call for help. That is my commitment and the reason why I spent so many hours distilling this information to the level of being readable.
Put simply, if you want to step out, first of all, you are not allowed and secondly, if you insist, be prepared for an unfair war between you and all the peers whom you consider your “brothers” or “friends”. They will become your enemies in a way that you can not imagine and will use your own fears as allies, leaving you in a situation of total despair and meltdown.
But the good news is, all of that is just bluff, all the threats end up just being a bunch of bullshit and if you maintain a little bit of patience all the threats implode into themselves, revealing the real face of CEA and the cult of Ernesto Barón.
After all, it is just a bunch of cowards hiding themselves behind orders. Just like Adolf Eichmann justified nazi war crimes with his “amtssprache” logic.
The problem here is the tremendous psychological pressure that people have to go through in order to get out at the other end.
Because of the fact that you are alone, with your psychological world collapsing around you, this can bring tremendous trauma, but if you have some guidance on how to do it, it is pretty simple and straightforward.
I hope that our process can be helpful if someone is trying to step out of a cult, that is my goal, and again if you need some specific information about CEA and our process, contact me.
The process of stepping out...
After 16 years of being somehow connected to this cult, which uses the institution CEA (and others) as a fake front covering the real face of Ernesto Barón and his manipulations, was time to definitely step out.
There were too many things going on that I do not agree with, and I did not want to go on participating by my own conscientious objection.
The manipulation was always clear to me, but somehow I was not aware of its dimension. I was not aware of the real power that the cult had in my life. For me, it was something that I was participating, collaborating and so on, but it turns out that, that idea was a self-deception.
The real thing was that this cult slowly has taken over my life and freedom as a human being.
This process explained here, took place in a period of about 3 months, from the first recognition of our own economic problems, until the complete disruption with CEA.
The starting point was the moment we asked for a simple “authorization” to move to another house/village, because our economic situation was unsustainable.
Everyone in our delegation knew our delicate financial situation, and during those months never anyone asked if we needed some help or support. We were completely alone in a foreign country, where our beloved “brothers and sisters” converted themselves to our worst enemies.
Was scary… but, those initial moments were pretty “eye-opening” about what this was about.
We came quickly to the conclusion of how they will going to operate and we immediately started to be always one step ahead.
That little initial perception (this is bigger than what we think) was what made possible our healthy stepping out of the cult, maintaining all the material that we are presenting here, (and some more).
At some point, we had decided to test out our freedom as persons inside CEA, and see until where they were willing to go.
The first piece of advice if you undergo this process is, do not trust anyone inside CEA. You have to be intelligent enough to be always a little ahead in the process.
That can mean for example to withhold revealing your next steps and release them by bits, and in the meanwhile, you have time to prepare your next moves. Always be ahead in your moves, prepare the next one and inform about the previous one.
In our situation, it implied moving to another house. In that sense, we were pretty sure that we could avoid all the physical harassment by our peers and especially by the country “leader” that we would be subject to.
There were a lot of emails back and forth, between the “responsible” of our country zone, many reports ("informes") were asked to be written down and so on.
One important thing to consider very carefully, is the attempt that they make to separate couples, so be careful if that is your case.
The reports are demanded to be personal, reports should not be shared, all of that in the “name of truth”.
In our case, they tried to manipulate us as a couple and play one against the other but we used that (pretending to be playing that game) as a lure to get more time for our moves.
They are not so smart as they seem or pretend to be…
At the very beginning when we reported our situation, about the economic problem, that we would not be able to continue to support the costs of an “association” (we were renting an extra building as "association") and so on, the answer was pretty clear about our freedom as persons and about what we could and could not do.
There was a clear message repeated very times that, “we are obliged to report any move before making any kind of choice”.
That repetition is a clear sign of their fear of losing control. Very important DO NOT REPORT your steps in forehand…
Here is a piece of one of the firsts conversations with the responsible of our country/zone Franz Preihs, where he is clear about our freedom as persons, “we are not private persons, we are at service of CEA”:
Several calls were made in the same tone, the gaslighting is huge, the constant twist of words and emotional appeals is tremendous.
Be prepared to listen, digest and do not talk too much. That was one of our errors that we could have avoided, talking too much and allowing them to twist our words.
CEA has a mastery in gaslighting, they will gaslight you very strongly, everything you say is turned against you. Be careful because you are in an emotionally fragile state, and that is the fertile soil that allows all the gaslighting.
Very soon, after a couple of “reports”, solutions are presented by CEA, in this case, answers to our reports were transmitted by José Luiz Py Herrero through Skype.
Now... who is José Luiz Py?
If you are or ever have been in CEA obviously you know José Luis Py, but clarifying for the rest of the world, we can say that this man is one of the direct bridges between any “professor” and our “beloved Directors”. He is the front face of CEA, one of the faces that Ernesto uses to hide behind.
He is the spokesman in all external and internal affairs related to CEA.
So, a very big dinosaur, in CEA since the very beginning.
Anyhow, the Skype conversations were several and long conversations, sometimes more than 1:30h, between us, José Py, Franz Preihs (coordinator of Germany and Austria) and sometimes also Martina Pick (a long time “professor” that is responsible for some areas in CEA)
José Py, transmitted some answers that, according to him, were direct answers from Ernesto Barón and together with the “want to look good in the picture” attitude of Franz Preihs, solutions were created “ongoing” during the conversation, being some so ridiculous that we could only stand in a state of astonishment.
A couple of hours later, we received another call from Jose Luiz with the ultimatum that we were expelled from the “video team” and we were asked to reflect on everything and take our conclusions. This expulsion was intended to create more pressure and increase our state of fragility, collapsing our psychological world, in order to manipulate us. We should deliver a personal (individual) report within some days (a little more than one week) with our individual conclusions and reflections.
The mental and emotional manipulation was always present, so, if ypu are undergoing this kind of process, by any means do never dismiss their manipulative power. Listen and do the minimum talk, let them talk. That is the best way to approach this psychological harassment.
During that time we were already in the process of moving to another house in a different area and no one knew about it.
When the time came, we wrote down our reports (together of course) maintaining our position of truth and freedom. The subsequent effect was an escalation to an ultimatum and threats that came from all directions.
We were already prepared for that, but it was still a very hard situation, with enormous emotional difficulty.
We received a call from Franz Preihs, asking if he (together with Martina Pick) could meet us in our home the next day. The reason was that they have some direct information from “our Directors” that had to be delivered in person.
We asked why in our home, and if we could meet somewhere else. At this moment we were already playing our game.
Franz Preihs became very hostile and we expressed our will to not receive them in our house.
On the same day, we had sent an email reinforcing this point, to the coordination of CEA (José Luis Py), and asking to respect our will.

It is not our will that you and Martina, as CEA coordinators from Germany and Austria, come to our home to pass it on.
Please can you forward this email to the general CEA coordination, if you see it convenient, but you are not allowed to disclose its content to other people outside the coordination.
On the other hand, we ask CEA to respect our right to privacy, and not to reveal anything we have said, written or done, or make comments about us to people outside the CEA coordination.
Namely Prof. Franz Preihs, Prof. Martina Pick, Prof. José Luis Py and the Directors of the school of Montsalvat.
Please respect our will, as we reciprocally respect the CEA.

Guess who was in our home the next day!
Right, Franz Preihs and Martina Pick! The door was closed... and by the way, Franz had to make about 500Km… and 500Km back!
The purpose of the meeting in our house was, of course, to make us sign a bunch of papers and make us deliver all the related material of CEA.
They protect themselves this way and we would never be able to prove any connection with CEA.
Just right before they arrived at our home, we had received an email from José Luis Py with this ultimatum:

I am forwarding you the answer to your note sent today 17th to the coordination of Germany and Austria, to the general coordination as well as to the Direction. Because of your unethical, uncooperative and amoral attitude of not only not wanting to receive the teachers responsible for the coordination of Germany and Austria, but also not wanting to receive phone calls from them and the general coordination, having spent the whole day without the possibility of contacting you, to solve organizational subjects concerning the teachers.
With this, you have failed to comply with any responsibility as professors and as associate members of the CEA, also failing to comply with the most basic rules of civility and cordiality in all human relations.
Due to this attitude, which adds to the previous attitude of the last 15 days, failing to all responsibility as teachers, the Direction has determined that from the moment you receive this notification you have the DEFINITIVE DISMISSAL as teachers, as well as associate members of the CEA.
From now on you will have to comply with standard bureaucratic protocols for the return of materials belonging to the institution. Also the general coordination, as well as the Direction, remind you, that when you were associate members of CEA, you never belonged neither to the Board of Directors, nor to the Administrative Board, nor to the Legal Board of the CEA institution, therefore, the ordinances imposed by you in the last mail that you sent today 17th, have no legal validity, because not being part of any of these three boards, you cannot order the type of information that CEA wants to distribute among its associate members.
In view of your hostile, uncooperative and unethical conduct and attitude, the representative of our legal team is sending you the following notice which is attached to this e-mail.

This email is a declaration of stupidity, the most striking point is that we have to deliver all the books because they are protected with copyright… Wow! Did I pay for them or not? I was completely amazed by the absurdity and it was at that moment that I realized that these people are not even worth a dispute of arguments.
It is so ridiculous…
After that day Franz Preihs returned several times to our home (500Km one way and 500Km back), questioning our neighbors if they knew where we were. After some days we were back at home, moving the last stuff to our new home, and guess who appears around midnight?
Right, Franz Preihs together with another “professor”. Franz was insisting that "we have to talk about the situation” while the other “professor” was filming with the telephone, all of this inside our own property... We just insist with them to leave… and they did!
Later on, we discovered that they were in the woods spying on our house to see if we were at home, just like psychopathic criminals harassing people. (This was revealed to us by a "professor" (now ex-professor) that was forced to participate in that "chasing" )
It is amazing how in this case people start behaving in a criminal way in order of “greater good”.
I have a question to all CEA members… how far you can go, in order to accomplish the orders that “Our Beloved Directors” deliver to you?
Why does Ernesto Barón not come himself to collect the so precious materials?
We never signed anything and did not deliver any piece of anything to CEA, mostly because everything is ours, we paid for it.
Then, just to play the game, I answered that ultimatum in this way:
I did never received an answer.
Shortly after, I realized that we had paid the “fees” in advance for the year 2020… and I sent an email asking for the devolution of the months after being expelled. Guess what: no answer and no money back!
So in formal terms, CEA is still in debt with us and probably does not intend to resolve the debt.
Of course that the narrative of this event to the members was very different from reality and, as always, portraying the "expelled ones" as traitors and devils. In our case, we were also thieves because we robbed the association... I presume that what is meant, is that we did not deliver our books and materials...
After that, we live our lives in a normal way, reconstructing a natural sense-making of the world, dealing with all the traumas that this cult created in us. It is a long process, it might seem that the damage can never be totally reversible, but that is not correct.
It is possible to rebuild yourself in an intelligent way, accepting that experience and integrating it as it is: a life experience!
There is always some good among the bad, and it is possible to keep the good and distill the bad.
We can transform the anger of feeling abused and manipulated, into wisdom.
We can accept life as it is, integrating every experience “on the fly”.
The CEA or any cult experience is just like a train station where we step out, but now we are back to the train and will keep on our own journey.
That in itself is a great achievement, not to stop and get stuck in any station, especially a little station like this CEA cult.
It is possible to restart and rebuild a life with freedom and a real life purpose.
Experience life in firsthand! That will always be the ultimate freedom…

It is available some literature that can help in the process, I highly recommend the book “The wrong way home” by Arthur Deikman. Unfortunately, it is only available in English. We have made the first chapter available here, and also a very rough Spanish translation.
But the most important thing is the reconnection with life and people… seek family and old friends.
